Who this notice applies to
This accessibility statement applies to the People Alchemy digital eportfolio and learning workflow platform.
We want as many people as possible to be able to use this service. For example, that means you should be able to

- change colours, contrast levels and fonts using your browser or device settings
- zoom in up to 200% without text spilling off the screen
- navigate most of the service using just a keyboard
- navigate most of the service using speech recognition software
- listen to most of the content using a screen reader

How accessible this service is
We believe the Learner/Mentor/Observer (LMO) screens in the service are fully compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1 AA standard.
The administrator and configuration screens are not compliant with WCAG 2.1 AA. These areas are used only by a small number of trained administrators. We consider it a disproportionate burden under the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018 to make the administrative interfaces fully compliant.

- We test all new and updated features that have LMO screens for compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA.
- We have not identified any areas of the platform’s LMO user interface that fail to meet the standard.
- However, we do not currently hold a third-party certification of compliance.

Important note: People Alchemy is responsible for the accessibility of the platform’s user interface. Where customers upload their own content (such as documents, learning resources, or custom text), the customer is responsible for ensuring that this content meets accessibility requirements.
